The Double Trouble philosophy throughout many of our booklets has been to propose isolating and focussing on particular themes to enable a number of ideas to be absorbed and developed. This equally applies to the subject of ‘locations’.
There are times when we need to sketch away from home. These occasions can be planned or unplanned but by carrying a small sketchbook at all times a significant thought or image need not go unrecorded.
In this book there are examples of unusual materials and spontaneous responses to situations. Sometimes the results have more energy because they are outside the tried and tested methods. It is helpful to remain open to the new possibilities another location might offer.

Field Study, Observation, Drawing, Sketchbooks, Journaling, Outdoor Inspiration & More.
